The PSR program provides religious formation for students in grades Kindergarten through eight who attend public schools. Our goal is to instruct the children in our parish family as a community of believers in the Catholic faith.  The instructions include faith-enriching experiences, such as liturgies, faith instructions, prayer, sacramental preparation, discussions leading to moral awareness and community service.  Parents as primary educators are involved at all levels. This year ICD has partnered with Microfinancing Partners in Africa to support their Safe Woman Program. The Safe Woman program began because of the high maternal mortality rate in Uganda. This rate is due to limited access to health care resources, lack of education, extreme poverty and remote distance.  The Safe Woman Piglet Project gives a hands-up to pregnant women in Uganda and to women who endure post birth medical issues. Post birth issues cause them to be ostracized and cast out of their villages.  ICD Lenten Project
