The Stewardship program was initiated in 1989 with the time, talent and treasure phases. The time and talent phase is giving back to our parish the God-given talents each parishioner possesses in some aspect of parish life. Our parish has been blessed with generous volunteers who have utilized their talents to make Immaculate Conception the parish it is today. With the growing community of our parish, many of these services and ministries need more help in order to continue. The talents of each parishioner are welcomed on any committee and ministry. The Treasure phase of Stewardship is giving back to God and our parish the first fruits of our endeavors. Through this portion of stewardship our parish grows and the ministries are allowed to continue to meet the growing demands of these necessary services.
From Saint John Paul II (1988, Christifideles Laici)
“Above all, the common outcry, which is justly made on behalf of human rights – for example, the right to health, to home, to work, to family, to culture – is false and illusory if the right to life, the most basic and fundamental right and the condition for all other personal rights, is not defended with maximum determination”.
