Ministries play a vital role in parish life by allowing parishioners to live out their faith in meaningful ways. Whether through service, prayer, or fellowship, ministries help us grow in our relationship with Christ and strengthen the bonds within our parish community. They offer a place for everyone to contribute their unique gifts to the mission of the Church.

Worship

Arts & Environment Committee
Bring the liturgical seasons to life by helping decorate the Church with beauty and reverence. Volunteers arrange flowers, banners, and seasonal displays that enhance worship and reflect the sacred rhythms of the Church year.

Altar Servers
Boys and girls assist the priest during Mass and special liturgies, learning responsibility, reverence, and the joy of serving at the altar. This is a meaningful opportunity for youth to grow in their faith through active participation. Open to 5th grade and up.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
These ministers are trained to assist in the reverent distribution of the Eucharist during Mass and also extend Christ’s presence to the sick and homebound through Communion visits. Flexible opportunities for service are available.

Greeters
Greeters offer a warm welcome to all who enter the Church for Mass. They distribute worship materials and assist with offertory participation, helping to foster a friendly and inclusive parish atmosphere.

Ushers
Ushers help ensure a comfortable and organized worship experience. They assist with seating, take up the collection, and provide help during emergencies, serving as friendly and helpful hosts at Mass.

Music Ministry
Join others in leading the parish in worship through music. Opportunities are available for vocalists and instrumentalists of all ages and skill levels, including the adult choir, children’s choir, and Resurrection Choir (which sings at funerals).

Lectors
Lectors proclaim God’s Word at Mass in a clear and prayerful manner. Open to adults and high school youth, this ministry invites you to deepen your relationship with Scripture while serving the parish community. Training is provided.

Eucharistic Adoration (Chapel)
Spend quiet, prayerful time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Adorers commit to one hour per week, and all are welcome to stop by anytime during Adoration hours (Monday 9 a.m. – Saturday 8 a.m.).

Sunday Liturgy of the Word for Children
During 10:15 a.m. Mass, children in Grades K–2 are dismissed to hear the Sunday readings in a child-friendly setting, returning after the Creed. Volunteers help lead or assist with these engaging and age-appropriate reflections.

Funeral Greeter Ministry
Offer hospitality and comfort to those attending funeral Masses by serving as a greeter. Volunteers are scheduled based on availability.

Funeral Reception Ministry
Provide a warm meal and a place of comfort to families and friends after a funeral. Volunteers can help prepare, serve, or donate food on a rotating basis.

Sunday Nursery Volunteers
Care for infants and toddlers (ages 8 weeks to 3 years) in a safe and loving environment while their parents attend Sunday Mass. This ministry allows young families to worship peacefully and confidently.

Worship Committee
This committee helps evaluate and plan liturgical celebrations throughout the year, including seasonal decorations and special liturgies. Members collaborate to ensure Mass is prayerful, welcoming, and spiritually enriching.

Evangelization

Evangelization Committee
This ministry works to ignite the faith of parishioners and extend a warm invitation to others. Through parish events, outreach, and collaboration with other ministries, the Evangelization Committee helps foster personal encounters with Jesus Christ and encourages ongoing faith formation for all ages.

Full-Time Parish School Board

Parish Council
The Parish Council serves as the principal consultative body to the pastor, helping guide the overall vision, priorities, and ministries of the parish. Members discern parish needs and work together to support its mission.
