Interested in becoming Catholic?

OCIA is the journey through which unbaptized adults, or those baptized in another Christian tradition, are formed and welcomed into the Catholic Church. This spiritual and catechetical process unfolds in four stages, culminating at the Easter Vigil with the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

OCIA is more than a program—it’s a parish-wide mission. Through prayer, worship, and witness, our community walks alongside those seeking full communion with the Church. Weekly sessions run from September through May.

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)

Order of Christian Initiation for Children (OCIC) & Teens (OCIT)

Children age seven and older who are unbaptized, baptized in another faith, or have not received First Eucharist may enter the Church through a special OCIA process adapted for their age.

This journey invites both personal conversion and age-appropriate faith formation, supported by the example of peers and the active involvement of parents. Parental participation is essential to the child’s growth in faith.
