Secular Franciscan Order

Secular Franciscans are men and women, single or married, who have answered a call to the Franciscan life. After a time of formation, members of this group join the Franciscan family by making a public profession to a Rule of Life given to them by the Church and St. Francis. As Secular Franciscans, they live in the world and go “from Gospel to life and from life to the Gospel”. They meet regularly, supporting each other in their journey and witness to the world. This life “in community” energizes and inspires them as they seek daily conversion in following Christ. We welcome those who would like to explore a possible vocation to this Franciscan way of life.
